I am a sucker for the ability to customize every aspect of the mouse, and this is one more area that makes the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro mouse unique to me and my play style. While none of the scroll wheel settings are real game changers, they are great to see on this gamer-focused mouse, and ones I have thoroughly enjoyed over my time testing it. Much like most of the buttons on the mouse, these can be adjusted based on your needs, or the needs of the game or app you are using. The Basilisk V3 Pro’s mouse wheel also allows for four clear directions. While most scroll wheels are limited to either tactile mode or free-spin mode, the V3 Pro also comes with Smart-Reel mode, that once activated in Synapse 3, can adjust from tactile to free-spin when you scroll faster. Looking back to the versatility of the mouse, the Basilisk V3 Pro comes with the Razer Hyperscroll Tilt Wheel that not only lets you do all the standard scrolling modes, but can be adjusted to fit your style. I personally have always been a fan of the palm grip ergonomic shape that just feels right when jumping into one of the many shooters that are best played on PC. It is one of the heavier gaming mice from Razer clocking in at around 112 grams, and features all the buttons you would expect from the Basilisk family of devices.
